Berlin, Berlin \u2013 we go to Berlin!<\/h1>\n

With this phrase on their lips, footballers go to the final of the DFB-cup, which takes places traditionally in May in the Olympic Stadium of Berlin. We\u2019ll already play around Easter \u2013 Europeans biggest women\u2019s Volleyball tournament. We don\u2019t need the Olympic Stadium for that, but what we need are a lot of participants, helping hands and Volleyball-enthusiast. We\u2019re looking forward to the anniversary tournament in Berlin from 30.03. to 02.04.2018<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Why Berlin?<\/h2>\n

Because everything began there. 30 years ago the first European Women\u2019s Volleyball Tournament took place in Berlin. Since that it has been \u201con tour\u201d and now returns to its origin. We want to celebrate that: with great games, a lot of reunions and a party as it must be. In short: We want to have a blast!<\/p>\n

30 Years?<\/h1>\n

Some ask „why 30“ … 1989 to 2018 can not be a round birthday?<\/p>\n

That’s right. Birthdays always begin their count when a year is already around. – But even in the first year, this great event could only be brought to life with women’s power. So 1989 is the first year of european lesbian volleyball tournaments (the count begins earlier).<\/p>\n

And to complicate matters: in 1991 there were two tournaments in the tradition of the Eulevoto, one at Easter (the date has remained since then) and one in autumn (the original date). So there are more tournaments than years.<\/p>\n

The great thing is, we have three years in a row reason to celebrate:<\/p>\n
